Volunteer
Individuals as well as groups are needed and welcomed. Opportunities are available to help rescue food, work in the office and help with special events. Volunteers are also invited to organize food drives or help out with other hunger relief organizations.
We Need Your Help
Volunteers for Hidden Harvest are needed when we have fresh produce that needs to be sorted. Volunteers are needed when we host food distributions. Volunteers are needed to help on the 2nd Saturday of May for the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Volunteers are needed and appreciated!

If you want to eliminate hunger, everybody has to be involved. ~ Bono
Hidden Harvest strives to alleviate hunger and end food waste in the Great Lakes Bay Region by providing a safe and coordinated system of rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to feed people in need. Hidden Harvest operates upon the simple premise that good food should not go to waste when so many people are in need in our community.
Beyond the food Hidden Harvest rescues each day, there is always a need for additional non-perishable food items to fight hunger in our community. The soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and other nonprofit community programs we serve are always reaching out for canned goods. Canned food drives can be a lot of fun. Please see the link below for more information.

Community Harvest
Every year, good unused fruit falls from trees growing in our community. Let’s work together to connect this resource with individuals in need in the Great Lakes Bay Region! A group of dedicated volunteers, called “Community Harvest” is organizing volunteers to spray, pick, and share produce in partnership with Hidden Harvest.
